Meet our expert hiking guide to start an easy and fascinating trekking route through the countryside.
The first town we will meet will be Caravate, a small urban center protected by the sloping hills towards Maggiore Lake, surrounded by greenery.
Walking along the suggestive countryside where the placid river Viganella flows, we will cross an uncontaminated countryside. The presence of mills still functioning today, an oil press, a hydraulic sawmill, a continuous fire furnace and brick factories remind us of previous activities.
Lunch in a restaurant will give you a chance to enjoy simple cuisine with genuine flavors.
We will visit some farms where you will have the opportunity to buy cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, fruit and vegetables directly.
We recommend comfortable clothing, boots, a water bottle, hat.
