You will enjoy the city of Varese, discovering its traditions and its historic shops.
Half-day walking tour (morning or afternoon) discovering the artistic and historical beauties of the city, the wonderful gardens thanks to which Varese is known as the “Garden City”, the squares, the arcades, the palaces of various eras and styles .
You will taste the authentic Buosino (coffee and chocolate drink) and then eventually shop for typical products such as cheeses and cold cuts from the Valleys, Dolce Varese and Brutti e Buoni. Visit an authentic grocery store that for over a hundred years has been selling handcrafted products with genuine high quality ingredients and a historic herbalist's shop where you can appreciate the aroma of Elixir Florum Regio, a fine blend of herbs, roots, berries and flowers of the Campo dei Fiori Park.
Unmissable stop at the historic Caffè where the original Apollo-11 (a liqueur-aperitif) was born on 20th July 1969, to celebrate man's landing on the moon.
Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are reccomended.
