DAY 1: Departure - Rome
Departure by train for Rome. Arrival and accommodation at the hotel. In the afternoon free visit to the National Galleries of Palazzo Barberini or free visit to "Ancient Rome", registered by Unesco as a World Heritage Site. The past splendor is testified by numerous monuments such as the Colosseum, a building from the 2nd century AD, originally intended for gladiator fights and games; the Arch of Constantine, dating back to 315 AD; the Roman Forum and the area of the Imperial Forums, the Trajan's Markets; the Capitol; the Ara Coeli Church; Venice plaza. Dinner in a restaurant. Return to the hotel for overnight.
DAY 2: Rome
After breakfast at the hotel, guided tour of Rome upon request: St. Peter's Basilica, surmounted by the spectacular Michelangelo's Dome which houses, among the many masterpieces, a poignant Pietà, also by Michelangelo. and St. Peter's Square, via della Conciliazione up to Castel Sant’Angelo. Free lunch. In the afternoon continuation of the visit along the center: Via Giulia, Bramante's urban project, Piazza Farnese overlooked by the homonymous palace designed by Michelangelo, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, where Raphael's tomb is located, the nearby Temple of Bramante, with its frescoes. After a brief stop at the Trevi Fountain, you will arrive at Piazza di Spagna with its spectacular staircase. Dinner in a restaurant. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 3: return
Breakfast at the hotel and free morning for individual city tours. In the afternoon transfer to Termini Station for departure.
