Founding Partner and Sole Director since 2007 of the “PROFUMI D’ORIENTE Travel & Lifestyle” travel agency which is specialized in tailor made itineraries around the world. After 14 years, in the summer of 2020 and with the same spirit she decides to start “Profumi D’Italya” tour operator.
The decision to invest in a specialized tour operator in Italy comes from the full awareness that our beautiful country is one of the few in the world, if not the only one, that has the largest cultural heritage in the world. Over 4,000 museums, 6,000 archaeological sites, 85,000 churches subject to protection and 40,000 registered historic homes. Italy is also “open-air art” with its coasts, reserves and natural landscapes. This immense heritage is really worth discovering; famous cities, villages and hamlets suspended in time, woods and lakes, enchanted castles, churches and places of art. How about the jealously guarded treasures, those less known and underestimated which are absolutely worth a visit?
As a true Italian, conscious or unconscious, I still feel the sense of Cicero's state, the moral teachings of Seneca, the technique of Vitruvius, the vigor and faith of St. Augustine, the humanity of Michelangelo, the acumen of Machiavelli, the wisdom of Beccaria and the works of thousands of other people, who faced our same problems and offered solutions of immutable value, even today.
